Sweet humans!
After a pretty monumental week in the states & across the world, I thought it timely to come back to this simple prayer “Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu” which means “May all the beings in all the worlds be happy & free from suffering.”
Whatever side you land on politically we all want the same things - to be seen, understood, & accepted, & loved. The way we try to get those things may differ drastically with some methods for more effective than others. In today’s blog, I outline specific behaviours that sow connection & offer awareness around those that create division. Unity is reinforced everyday in the ways in which we meet each other, hear each other, & engage with each other.
I believe so strongly in the power of humanity to rise together & trust that this noble journey is built by those of us who are willing to grow, to learn, & to lead not from self-righteousness but by example with humble curiosity, presence, & genuine engagement.
